General Terms of Service
A legal disclaimer
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Level Services Corp website and any services provided by Level Services Corp ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our site or hiring us for work, you agree to these Terms.
1. Estimates & Change Orders

All quotes are based on the known scope of work at the time of the estimate.

Change orders are required for any additional work or scope adjustments and must be agreed to in writing.

Change orders are billable and must be paid according to the new agreement terms.

2. Deposits & Payments

A deposit is required before any work begins. The amount will be outlined in your estimate.

Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated.
-
Failure to pay may result in legal action and/or a mechanic’s lien filed against the property.

3. Liens
-
We reserve the right to file a mechanic’s lien in accordance with Illinois law for unpaid services or materials.

4. Governing Law & Venue
-
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
-
Any disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within Illinois at a location selected solely by Level Services Corp.
-
By using our services, you consent to jurisdiction and waive objections to venue.

5. Force Majeure
-
We are not responsible for delays or inability to complete work due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
-
Weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or other "Acts of God".

Supply chain disruptions
-
Utility outages
-
Government mandates
-
Labor strikes or civil unrest
-
Delays caused by other trades, subcontractors, or third parties failing to complete prerequisite work or site preparation
-
Permit delays or inspection scheduling issues
-
-
In such cases, we may reschedule work or terminate the agreement without penalty.

6. Site Access & Delays
-
The customer must provide clear, safe, and uninterrupted access to the job site as needed and without delay throughout the course of the project. This includes:

Ensuring the property is unlocked and accessible at all times during the project.
-
Providing any necessary keys, codes, or contact information to ensure smooth entry
-
Keeping the work area free of obstructions, debris, or safety hazards
-
-
We are not liable for delays due to site conditions, access issues, third-party contractors, or permitting delays.
-
Failure to provide timely access may result in additional charges, project delays, or cancellation. Repeated access issues may lead to termination of the agreement and forfeiture of any deposits paid.

7. Abandonment

If a project is delayed or paused at the customer's request, or due to the customer’s inaction, for more than 14 consecutive calendar days, the project may be considered abandoned.

In such cases:

Deposits are non-refundable, and
-
Restarting work may require a new estimate, deposit, and timeline.

8. Scope Limitations
-
Level Services Corp provides services based solely on the scope outlined in your approved estimate or proposal. We are not responsible for:
-
Pre-existing conditions such as faulty plumbing, electrical issues, structural defects, or code violations not visible or disclosed at the time of estimate
-
Concealed or unforeseen conditions, including but not limited to: mold, asbestos, rotten framing, pest infestations, outdated or non-compliant materials, or hidden water damage
-
Work or services outside the agreed scope, unless modified through a signed and priced Change Order
-
Delays or damages caused by third-party contractors, inspectors, vendors, or material suppliers not under our direct control
-
Client-supplied materials or fixtures, including any issues with fit, function, or quality
-
Post-installation issues due to misuse, neglect, tampering, or modifications by others after our work is complete.

9. Substitutions

We reserve the right to substitute materials, parts, or fixtures with items of equal or greater quality and function if the original materials become unavailable, discontinued, delayed, or backordered.

Substitutions may also be made at our discretion to:

Improve performance

Provide better value

Any cost savings resulting from substitutions are not guaranteed to be passed to the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing. We do not provide refunds or discounts for brand or style differences, as long as the substituted material meets or exceeds the original specifications.

10. Unused Materials

All unused or leftover materials remain the property of Level Services Corp unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Digital Communication

You consent to receive service-related updates via phone, text, and email.

12. Customer Conduct
-
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and professional work environment. By engaging with Level Services Corp, you agree to the following:

You and any representatives on your behalf must treat our team members with respect and professionalism at all times.
-
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or hostile behavior toward our staff will result in immediate suspension or termination of service, with no refund of deposits or payments made.
-
We reserve the right to disengage from any client who creates a hostile or unsafe environment — physically or verbally — including via email, phone, or text.
-
Defamatory, slanderous, or malicious statements made publicly (including on social media or review platforms) that are false, misleading, or made in bad faith may result in legal action for damages, including but not limited to loss of business and harm to reputation.

In any case where we must engage legal counsel due to breach of contract, defamation, or failure to pay, the client agrees to be held liable for all legal costs, attorney’s fees, and associated expenses incurred by Level Services Corp.

13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Any attempt to reverse, dispute, or charge back a valid payment without contacting us first will be treated as a breach of contract and may result in immediate legal action.

Clients who initiate false or bad-faith chargebacks may be held liable for all associated legal fees, collection costs, and damages.
-
Returned checks, ACH failures, or NSF (non-sufficient funds) transactions will incur an automatic $75 administrative fee per occurrence, in addition to the original balance owed.
-
Repeated payment failures may result in account suspension, job cancellation, or the filing of a mechanic’s lien until payment is resolved in full.

14. Marketing Use

We may photograph completed work for use in our portfolio, website, social media, and other marketing materials. To protect client privacy:

We will never disclose names, addresses, or other identifying information without express written permission.
-
We will avoid including visible house numbers, license plates, street signs, or personal belongings in images whenever reasonably possible.
-
Photos will focus on the work itself, not the client or their personal property.

15. Insurance & Licensing

Level Services Corp is fully licensed and insured in the State of Illinois. Documentation available upon request.
Referral Program Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: June 28, 2026

Level Services Corp ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") offers a Referral Program (“Program”) to reward individuals (“Referrers”) who refer new customers to our plumbing services. Participation in this Program constitutes your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility
To participate in the Program, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
-
Be a legal resident of the United States.
Employees, owners, officers, independent contractors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive referral rewards.
The referred customer must be a new customer who has not previously received services from Level Services Corp under any name, business, or account.

2. Qualifying Referral
A referral is considered qualified only when all of the following conditions are met:

The referred customer is identified by the Referrer at or before the customer's initial inquiry or scheduling.
-
The referred customer completes a plumbing project with a contract value of $1,000 or more before taxes and discounts.
-
The project is fully completed and paid in full with no outstanding balance.
-
The project is located within Level Services Corp's service area, currently Northern Illinois.
Level Services Corp reserves the right to determine whether a referral satisfies all Program requirements.

3. Referral Reward
For each qualifying referral, the Referrer will receive one (1) $100 Visa Gift Card.
Rewards will be issued within 30 days after the qualifying project has been completed and paid in full.
Only one referral reward will be issued per new customer, regardless of the number of individuals claiming the referral.
Level Services Corp is not responsible for delays or failure to deliver rewards resulting from inaccurate contact information, returned mail, or third-party fulfillment providers.​

4. Program Limitations
The following referrals are not eligible:

Self-referrals.
-
Referrals submitted after the customer has already contacted or scheduled with Level Services Corp.
-
Referrals generated through paid advertising, unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, or other deceptive marketing practices.
-
Referrals from commercial lead-generation companies or referral brokers unless approved in writing by Level Services Corp.
All referrals must be made in good faith and represent genuine prospective customers.
Referral rewards may not be combined with other promotions, offers, or discounts unless expressly stated by Level Services Corp.​

5. Tax Obligations
Referrers are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with referral rewards. When required by law, Level Services Corp may issue an IRS Form 1099 for qualifying rewards and the Referrer agrees to complete a Form W-9 before payment is issued.

6. Fraud Prevention
​Level Services Corp reserves the right to verify all referral claims.
We may deny, withhold, revoke, or recover referral rewards if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the Program has been abused, manipulated, or used in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Attempts to manipulate or abuse the Program may result in legal action and disqualification from current and future promotions.
7. Program Changes & Termination
Level Services Corp reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time without prior notice.
Any such changes will be posted to our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
Referrals submitted prior to termination will be honored if they meet all qualifying conditions.

8. No Guarantees
Participation in this Program does not create any employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or other business relationship between the Referrer and Level Services Corp.
Rewards are earned only after all Program requirements have been satisfied. Level Services Corp reserves the right to interpret and apply these Terms and Conditions in its sole discretion.
